I really like the way the Sudanese people greet each other. Instead of shaking hands (sometimes in addition to shaking hands), two people facing each other would tap each other with their right hand on each other's left shoulder. That is sometimes followed by a handshake.
Pretty cool, hey.

Hey that is pretty cool! I'm gonna start doing that. How many taps, just one? Also, do they both do it at the same time?
On second thought maybe I shouldn't do that here, it might be mistaken for a hostile gesture, and I'll be greeted with a punch on the nose. Especially if I tap them from behind...
Take care fratellino.
I still prefer the kissing when greeting a nice lady. I'll use the tapping thing with the other :-)

Two people are facing each other, each one holds up his right hand and (more like) places it on the other person's left shoulder - once. Usually followed by a handshake.
Curiously, I haven't noticed females doing it.
How do women greet then?
They don't?
I've seen some womens salute with the tap!
nice place wissam, this is so REAL
